The story of Innov Builders begins in 2018 when Iago Henrique Oliveira Maciel arrived in the United States, bringing with him construction experience acquired in Brazil and a desire to make a difference in a market where attention to detail and care for others' achievements are rare.

With the conviction that "hands that create" can build not only structures but also relationships based on trust, Iago quickly stood out in the companies he worked for as a carpenter.

The care and responsibility he dedicated to each project caught the attention of colleagues and clients, planting the seed for a bigger dream: to have his own business and offer a unique experience in the construction sector.

The Seed of the Idea: When Opportunity Knocks

Although he didn’t have a clear plan to open his own business, Iago worked as a carpenter for a local construction company. However, his life took a turn when he had the opportunity to do the siding of a house in an independent project. After requesting time off from the company — which, according to him, was quite understanding — Iago realized that he was not facing a simple door installation or minor repair, but a large-scale project that would require all of his skills. The success of this work sparked the realization that, in addition to technical aptitude, he also had the ability to lead and manage more complex projects. The starting point was set. Spontaneously and unexpectedly, the idea of creating his own company gained strength and became inevitable.

Growth and Transition to Strategic Leadership

In the beginning, Iago was deeply involved in the execution of the projects, but over time, he realized that he needed to take on a more strategic role. Innov Builders could not thrive if he remained 100% in operations. It was necessary to improve processes and structure management, ensuring that every step was executed with standardization and quality while preparing the company for new challenges. A pivotal moment was the rebranding of the company. Originally called Innovation Construction, the company's growth and the need for exclusivity in the market led to the name change to INNOV BUILDERS. At the same time, the hiring of a consultancy specializing in strategic planning opened the doors to the adoption of globally recognized management methodologies. Considered by Harvard University as one of the best business strategies of the century, this approach brought clarity of objectives and security in monitoring indicators.
